Dear Rosie,
You were kind enough to telephone me, a week or so ago, to ask how things were going in my life, and I was in the happy position of being able to say: Very well. You have known for some time, since we last spoke, that Arlene and I - perhaps two of your less conventional customers - had found pleasure in each other's company as soon as we first met (1995). What I could now tell you was that our relationship had continued to thrive to a point where, last may, we agreed that we should like nothing better than to be married to each other. On that bases, therefore, our address (above) is now the same, that of a converted mill house complete with garden and dog; and amongst our relatives and friends it has become the most open of secrets that they will be invited to our wedding some time this coming summer. All this we owe, in the most literal sense, to you. Although Arlene and I both work in the same area of south Belfast it is quite likely that our paths would never have crossed unless, through you, they had been make to do so. It therefore seems to us that we are one of your recent success stories.
We hope you agree, and we both send you our most grateful thanks.
David.
